Graduate Research Assistant Positions
Graduate research assistant positions funded by grants from NIH, NSF, and DOE may be available. Self-motivated and enthusiastic students interested in bioinformatics, machine learning and data mining are welcome to contact Dr. Cheng for the research opportunities. Successful candidates should have substantial programming experience in C/C++, Perl/Python or Java and good English writing skills. A MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or bioinformatics is desirable. Some academic or industrial experience is a plus.
